Chapter Chairperson Mrs. Renuka Salwan, was a panelist in a panel discussion
on Indian Women: Tradition & Modernity, held at Rotary Club Chandigarh.

Chapter initiated a capacity building programme for the taxi drivers of
Chandigarh in association with the Chandigarh Tourism Department and the
Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management. The programme was launched on 25th
January, the National Tourism Day, with pilot training session for 10 taxi
drivers. In the next one month, the Chapter shall cover the entire
population of taxi drivers in the tri-cities, who besides receiving
certificate will also get a code of conduct.
The initiative has been taken following the city's endeavours to make it as
a world-class tourist destination.

21-member delegation of PRSI Chandigarh Chapter participated in the 28th
All India Public Relations Conference in Lucknow.
The Chapter has received the Best Performance Excellence Award at
the Conference.
